Selecting the right venue:

Picking the right venue can make the difference between a good and a great murder mystery party!

With our "Premium Edition" games venue selection is much more important. With Premium Edition games your guests will be very interactive, moving around, mingling and playing games so you need the right venue.

Consider these two points when selecting a venue:

DO NOT PICK A NOISY VENUE!

Because the game relies on guests sharing theories and listening to other peoples theories a quiet venue is essential.

Do not select a venue that has a band downstairs or loud music throughout. If there is music playing in the room have the venue turn it off or disconnect the cable from the speakers.

If you are holding the murder mystery in a restaurant try and book your own room so you don't have to compete with the other people speaking in the restaurant.

Having your own stereo is a great idea especially if you play themed music. Just make sure your host can turn it down at the appropriate times.

If you pick a noisy venue and your guests can't hear they wont want to play the game!

Have as much space as possible!

The more space you have the better. Imagine all your guests standing in a circle shoulder to shoulder. Would this circle fit in your venue? Try and have as much room as you can.

About half of our clients hold their murder mystery at home and the other half hire a venue.
