The Story

Setting: The maiden voyage of "The Achilles Tendon" the latest cruise ship for the company "Relation Ships Inc." and the cruise leaves from Cuba in the Caribbean.

Short Story: 30 years ago 3 friends found a treasure map leading to the Achilles treasure chest. They were going to devote their lives to finding the treasure but 2 of the trio got married and got greedy. Skipping forward to today, Nick Toff (the owner of the cruise ship) has gone overboard and is presumed dead! Was it one of the crew? Or was someone trying to get their hands on the treasure map. Secret love affairs, revenge and greed are all the motivating factors that have resulted in murder.

Long Story: Welcome to the maiden voyage of the beautiful new cruiser The Achilles Tendon. As a guest aboard the ship you would think you could relax and enjoy the sights of the Caribbean. If you thought this you would be wrong! “Nick Toff” the owner of the ship has fallen overboard and is presumed MURDERED! Nick Toff had very few friends (including his wife) and many people would have been happy to see Nick meet a nasty end. Whodunit? Your guests will have to solve that mystery! Decipher the Treasure Map, discover the sea bound affair and unravel the mystery of who killed Nick Toff! Would you take a cruise on The Achilles Tendon?

Adult Themes: This story contains affairs and revenge.

Costumes: Guests come dressed as a sailor, crew member, pirate, Rastafarian, stowaway, Hawaiian, swimming instructor, beach goer or a high society passenger. Note: Customers often say that the Caribbean Cruise theme is the easiest theme to dress for.

How Do Costumes and Characters Work? To make the game as easy as possible to organise your guests do not need to dress as any particular character. The costume they wear does not affect the character they play in the murder mystery. You allocate the murder mystery characters on the night of the party. This means that if guests are sick and can't make it or extra friends want to come then there is no impact on running the game.
