Relive the Wild West in an era of cowboys, cowgirls and native Americans.
So we hosted an amazing Wild West night where 100 guests attended. We self hosted with lovely Madam Sophie. For the lead up to the night I kept the attendees enthused and informed about costumes, mindset on getting into character on the night, funny house rules etc. Our venue was an old pub that has been restored and it was perfect. We gave Madam Sophie a side kick, a halfwit named Hill Billy. We had several meetings prior studying the kit so both new how to run the event. And OMG what an event they ran. So comical. We had games to get everyone in the mood. We threw people in jail. Had a feast of food. The town had a ball and said this was the best murder mystery party they had ever attended. Having the games to create a fun atmosphere really sets your game apart. The boxed set is awesome. But must be read to fully understand the runnings of the game. I think you have nailed it. The town already wants another one. So we are deciding which one next. Thank you for putting together a great package.
We hosted a Wild West murder mystery. The games and the transformation of our house into an 1830's saloon was great. The game instructions were easy to follow and my husband hosted it himself.
Setting: The Farcry Saloon in the town of Farcry in the American Wild West 1837.
Story: “The Sheriff” is the richest man in Farcry and everyone wants his money. When the Sheriff’s will falls into the wrong hands it creates a recipe for murder. “The Sheriff” has underestimated the lengths people will go to for all that money. Many people are implicated but only one person is the true murderer. Unravel the story of the love affair, the baby swap and the sundown shootout that has everyone excited.
Adult Themes: Childbirth.
Costumes: Guests come dressed as a cowboy, Indian brave/chief, townie, law keeper, outlaw, saloon girl, madam or any Wild West character.
How Do Costumes and Characters Work? To make the game as easy as possible to organise, your guests do not need to dress as any particular character. The costume they wear does not affect the character they play in the murder mystery. You allocate the murder mystery characters on the night of the party. This means that if guests are sick and can't make it or extra friends want to come then there is no impact on running the game.
Normal Use: Hens night, fundraiser, kids 11+, teenage or adult party.
Group Size: 2 to 15, 2 to 60, 60 to 120.
Will you survive the treachery of the Wild West?
